Payment Terms
How Konekte subscription billing differs from direct campaign payments.
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Two separate payment relationships
Konekte subscription fees and campaign compensation are separate. Stripe processes eligible business subscription charges for access to Konekte. Campaign compensation is paid directly by the business to the creator or media platform.
No escrow or custody
Konekte does not receive, route, safeguard, or hold campaign funds. Konekte is not escrow, a bank, a money transmitter, or the payment agent of either participant. A status shown in Konekte is a workflow record, not proof from a financial institution.
Supported methods
Users may indicate Wise, PayPal, Zelle, ACH, Wire transfer, Remitly, MonCash, Cash App, or Other. Availability, eligibility, fees, exchange rates, reversals, and processing times are controlled by the users and their chosen provider—not Konekte.
User responsibilities
- Agree on amount, currency, timing, method, fees, taxes, and usage rights before work begins.
- Verify payment instructions outside Konekte when appropriate and protect sensitive financial information.
- Use the Konekte payment reference where practical and update settlement status accurately.
- Handle tax reporting, invoices, withholding, refunds, chargebacks, and disputes required by applicable law.
Disputes
Users should first communicate through the campaign record and preserve external payment evidence. Konekte may provide workflow records or moderation support but does not adjudicate ownership of funds and cannot reverse an external transfer.
