How Konekte collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information.
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Information we collect
- Account and authentication information, including email and profile identifiers.
- Business, creator, and media-platform profiles, including languages, location, audience, platforms, rates, and inventory.
- Campaign requests, briefs, messages, deliverables, reviews, and settlement-status records.
- Payment-preference information. Konekte is designed not to store full bank or card account numbers for campaign settlement.
- Subscription and transaction metadata received from Stripe; Konekte does not receive full payment-card details.
- Locale, session, device, diagnostic, error, and security information generated when you use the service.
- Prompts and related content submitted to AI-assisted features.
How we use information
- Provide authentication, profiles, discovery, matching, briefs, campaign workflows, settlement records, reviews, translations, and support.
- Operate subscriptions, enforce limits, prevent abuse, secure the service, and investigate issues.
- Improve functionality and understand service performance.
- Comply with law and enforce agreements.
How information is shared
Public creator and media profiles expose marketplace-safe fields. Campaign participants can see information needed for their shared workflow. Service providers may process information on our behalf, including Supabase for application data and authentication, Stripe for subscription billing, hosting providers, and configured AI model providers.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction. We do not represent that Konekte sells personal information.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account from your profile page. Your profile stops appearing on Konekte immediately, and the deletion remains reversible for 30 days. After that period your name and profile details are removed permanently and your sign-in is deleted. If you ask us to delete your account by contacting us instead, we carry out the same process on your behalf.
Deletion is not available while a campaign you are part of has been agreed but not settled. The other party is expecting delivery or payment, so that campaign must be completed or cancelled first.
Campaign records are not deleted with your account. Briefs, messages, deliverable history, and reviews remain available to the businesses, creators, and media platforms you worked with, with your identity replaced by “Former Konekte member”. Those records describe a transaction between two parties, and the other party keeps a legitimate interest in their own history of it.
Financial records, including subscription and payment-reporting records, are retained for seven years to meet tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Backup copies may take up to 90 days to expire after deletion. Security and audit records may also be retained where legally permitted or required.
Your choices and rights
You can update many profile fields in your account, control accepted payment methods, change your password, and delete your account from your profile page. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing.
Requests may require identity verification. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on local law.
Security and international processing
Konekte uses technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including access controls and database row-level security. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Appropriate legal mechanisms should be documented as provider configuration and operating regions are finalized.
Children, changes, and contact
Konekte is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.
We may update this policy as practices change. Privacy questions and requests may be submitted through the support or privacy channel published in the service.
